Learning to face your fears to find freedom
You might be feeling stuck in patterns of overthinking, gripped by fear, or overwhelmed by the pressures of becoming a new parent, managing work, school, or daily life. Maybe OCD, anxiety, or specific phobias are in the driver's seat — creating panic, social worries, constant doubt, or specific fears you can’t shake. You're looking for real tools backed by science and research that are shared with compassion and patience. I am a licensed clinical psychologist with expertise in evidence-based therapies like ERP, CBT, and ACT. I specialize in helping adults, new parents, and teens experiencing OCD and anxiety, using evidence-based strategies that support symptom improvement, while fostering mindfulness, acceptance, and personal growth. I also provide consultation services to fellow mental health providers, in particular those looking for supervision or consultation on working with OCD.
I have a rich cultural background having lived and studied across the world and strongly believe that mental health does not exist in a vacuum. Therapy with me is a collaborative, thoughtful, and tailored experience — not a one-size-fits-all formula. I strive to take a holistic approach in treatment, by examining the role of various psychosocial, environmental, physiological, cultural, and spiritual factors at play. I value warmth, collaboration, and empathy above all; but you can also trust me to hold you accountable to recognizing the patterns that no longer serve you and making the changes you desire to achieve the life you deserve.
I have dedicated the past 16 years to studying the art and science of psychological research and practice. I received my PhD in Clinical Psychology from the University of Texas at Austin, and completed my clinical residency, and postdoctoral fellowship and specialization training in OCD and anxiety-related conditions, at McLean Hospital/Harvard Medical School. Prior to that I lived and studied in the UK where I earned master's degrees in Brain Sciences and Organizational Psychology.
